The \"Urbane Stickerei\" (translates to: Urban Embroidery) is an embroidery company in Berlin, which offers individualized products in careful handwork at weekly markets and the Christmas market in Berlin as well as on the Internet.
The new Urbane Stickerei logo convinces with its simple and original figurative mark. The shape forms the initial letter “U” with an embroidery needle in its negative space. Because of its iconic character, the figurative mark also works great as a standalone symbol. The customer particularly liked this because it makes the logo perfectly suited for use on social networks.")

My design is based on the well-known maps symbol. By rotating it by 90 degrees and adding some well thought-out minimalist elements it becomes a unique “strampel fish”.")

The minimalistic design with the soften edges matches well the company brand image: approachable, open to all and easy to connect to. The elephant as brand mascot was chosen because it is protective, understanding, nurturing and dependable. Facing the viewer with a friendly mimic the mascot comes with a playful and sympathetic note: \"connect to happiness\".")
