I have a Ph.D. in Cell Biology, and in my real job I do stem cell research at the University of Chicago. I started tinkering in the Adobe suite as a job necessity...analysis of microscopy photographs and making little cartoons of cells. I got pretty good and really enjoyed this, so in my spare time, I use my skills to design party invitations for friends and family. My most formal experience is designing all of the icons for my husband's start up company app.
