stopbouncing.com
I've created a tool for testing the deliverability of e-mails. (Deliverability means: will your e-mail be delivered, and will it be delivered in the inbox). E-mail marketeers (not spammers), can use my tool to find out whether they should take steps in order to improve the deliverability of their campaigns.
In my online tool, they can find out if things are misconfigured, and how to resolve this.
Stopbouncing.com is my url. In e-mail delivery, a bounce is what happens when the receiving server doesn't have the address you're sending an e-mail to, or just plain lies to you. So, with my help, people stop bouncing :)
I want to put my tool online, but I've got no design skills whatsoever. I need your help on this one.
If all goes well, I'm going to expand this one more and more along the way. So, the contest winner will be asked for future orders as well.
I'm targeting e-mail marketeers and e-mail marketing software developers worldwide. The people coming to the site are people who don't necessarily have a clue what their problem is, but they want help, or someone to fix it.
They're skeptical people, looking for a solution, but willing to pay if they believe it will benefit them in the end.
They're not looking to read much, so the site will be light on text.
I'm looking for a 'template' to build the site in. I'm not looking for screenshot designs of every page on my site, because that's a waste of our time. I can imagine how the whole thing will look out of a few elements.
I'm going to need these things:
- Compelling header, related to e-mail;
- Two level menu (first level always visible, second level optional, no dropdowns);
- Footer for contact/address information;
- A style for headers, links, text, lists, error messages, information messages, tables and form elements (textbox, submit-button);
I want my site to be SEO friendly. So some important points:
- Please design your menu and headers in such a way that they can be displayed with text, not images.
- No flash.
