This touch screen display will be set at the end of a pharmacy aisle. It has Internet and is equipped with a bar code reader. By scanning items customers connect to specific web pages which display product info, as well as suggests other similar products. Our company designs software solutions for the health care sector.
This project is to create html pages to display product informations on the kiosk.
Display specs: width and height are fixed and will not change.
Browser window will never get resized and screen resolution will always be the same.
width=1000px
height=700px
There must be NO scrollbar.
There must be NO browser Popup. Css popup are allowed and encouraged.
This is to be use with a touchscreen. Thus buttons on the page must be larger and taller than usual so the user can easily selected them.
Use as much css as you can and keep it in it's own file (style.css)
Site will run in Firefox 3 and IE7. No need to support older browsers.
Do not use applet, flash or any other plugin.
You can make use of javascript but keep it clean and organized in it's own file. Avoid scripting directly in the page unless for calling method in the javascript file (ex: onclick="methodCall(this)").
We have included two sample product images. Feel free to resize them to your needs but make sure that the product is still recognizable so that the user will be able to find the products easily on the shelf.
