APESMA
APESMA is one of Australia's largest professional associations. We have an old website and want to revamp it completely. Therefore we are looking for a talented designer to give us some direction and create a look and feel that engages our current and prospective members.
Our goals are to provide members with RECOGNITION, enable them to become LEADERS, and SUPPORT them to achieve their best, and assist them to CONTRIBUTE to the community/world around them.
Primary target – professionals, tertiary (university) educated, knowledge leaders who also want to contribute to their society (make a difference).
Secondary target - broader public, including government officials, journalists, opinion leaders
To present APESMA to our members and potential members as a professional, dynamic & effective organisation that helps individuals improve their career, their professions and influence broader social issues effectively through group power.
The design should not stereotype professionals, and should aim to project a quality of humanness and community.
TONE: aspiring & empowering. Educated, knowledgeable & skilled. Respected and recognised. Personal, or “member” focused. A creative leader, and a source of support.
KEY WORDS : build, create, lead, innovate, make a difference, contribute, support, share, and develop, fresh, optimistic, energetic, engaging, active, positive, social
LOOK & FEEL : Very personal, friendly, and approachable, but not frivolous. Creative but not over designed. Easy to digest. Professional. Modern & active.
Clean and flexible, but avoid a clinical or rigid feeling. Suggestive of innovation, leadership and creation. Social. Supportive. Aspirational, empowering and effective. Human. Social. About members who associate with each other and are encouraged to communicate, share and contribute.
