About Off The Hook
The Off The Hook Charity is a learning centre for youths who are unsuitable for traditional schooling or training and find it difficult to integrate.
The Charity History
Our roots started in 1967 as York Boxing Club. Over years of working with children and young people, we realised we could complement our sport with education as we already had the kids attention.
It has to be realized that a percentage of young people, often through no fault of their own, find it difficult to complete the mainstream route of education and social integration. Our aim is to help our young people just find themselves again, get back on track with living life, to get them back into mainstream education and give them employer appeal........It's as simple as that!!!
It started with becoming an Access Centre for the Duke of Edinburgh Award in 2008. It was at this point we realized Education was where our future lies and we were in an ideal position to work with boys and girls who were out of mainstream education and hard to reach.……our bonus was, they were already coming to us!!
In 2008 we became an ASDAN Registered Centre, which soon became our quality of learning bench-mark.
We have faith in these young people, they just need a chance, a little guidance and bags of encouragement.
The site is not aimed at the youths themselve. The site Purpose is to raise funds and give information to the official bodies about the service which the Charity provides. Weather they are looking to use the charity for children in their care or are funding bodies looking for more information in order to make funding decisions.

Please see the attached files for examples of sites which we'd like to take inspiration from and Q&A about what the client does and does not like.
The current colour scheme is the red and blue in the brief but I thought that they are a little dark so feel free to change the colours to suit.
Just use the name as the logo to keep it simple.
We have also provided wireframes to give you a bit of inspiration but I expect you to take whatever ideas you have and use them. I am happy for you to stay close to the wireframe if you like but please do not feel bound by the wireframes at all. Someone who comes up with a better layout may have a better chance of winning.
I will give lots of feedback and guarantee the prize .
Thank you for entering.
