The name of our company is BrainX. We are a team of brain researchers who design e-learning systems that use the latest brain research to accelerate learning and create mastery. This is contest is to design interactive web pages that will be launched from several different web sites. The pages operate almost like an online game for business people. People who go to the first web page read instructions and click a next button that takes them to the next page where they watch a video and read something about the game. After doing something on the page they click one of several option buttons and are taken to another page where they can see something else in the game.

The audience is professional sales people and managers of large companies. The game is based on brain research so we want it to look professional yet still fun to us. We want people to have an instant reaction that this is going to be enjoyable. No cartoons, clip art or stock photos. The expectation of an enjoyable experience has to come from the shape of the overall design. The shape of the outer design and the empty spaces where we will insert the game elements (think of these as text boxes) is the most important thing.
The audience are not gamers, some may even be a bit computer phobic. Therefore the navigation buttons must be intuitive and easy to find.
For the contest you will design two pages. The first is an introduction page that will be the first page in the online game. The second page uses the same design but has 4 empty areas where we will insert the components of the game. Those two pages are described in the attached full specification document.
Additional work: If the winning designer is interested in doing additional work on the project, after the contest we will have the opportunity for the designer to design additional variations of the pages as well as other work.
