This project seamlessly blends the historic preservation of the Central Emporium with an elegant coastal-inspired design, prioritizing functionality and ease of maintenance.

Street Side: Restoration of original brickwork, reinstatement of historic clerestory windows, iconic signage, and subtle modernization of awnings.
Lakeside: Window uniformity, removal of the upper balcony, improved siding materials, enhanced signage and lighting, and enclosures to conceal rooftop air conditioning units.
Adjacent Lot: Creation of a green space with a lawn, children’s play area, and seating by the lake.
The design strikes a balance between historical authenticity, refined aesthetics, and practical usability, enhancing both the building's legacy and visitor experience.
