Running Rivers is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit that strives to facilitate the connection of people with healthy freshwater ecosystems like streams and rivers through novel recreational events, educational activities and on-the-ground projects. For example our flagship recreational event, the Rocky Mountain Flyathlon, is a new multi-sport event that integrates three activities that are currently surging in popularity in the Western U.S.; trailrunning, fly fishing, and craft beer. While many enjoy these activities independently, we have found over the last several years that putting them together is even more enjoyable. We challenge our race participants to raise money to protect the very streams that we fish and the trails that we run.
