Art in DUMBO is an online resource for people in the New York City art world to learn about the art galleries, artist residencies, and arts advocacy groups in DUMBO, Brooklyn. Art in DUMBO also acts as a community coalition of these art organizations, uniting the individual organizations and raising the profile of the arts in DUMBO. Through our website and social media platforms, we profile each arts institution located in DUMBO and maintain an events calendar.

I was mainly inspired by the texture of the Brooklyn bridge anchorage formed by those huge blocks, but also by the cardboard boxes produced in the Robert Gair. For the letters, I used the typeface used in the New York subway, Helvetica Bold.
