Dickie's Seafood, an SSPI brand, is a seafood company based in Richmond, Virginia well-known for their deviled crabs, selling seafood product since 1978. They wanted a new vintage-style logo to bring focus on their deviled crabs first, as well as the history of the company, with the option of expanding their product line later on.

I came up with a stamp-style Dickie's logo for a classic feel, giving a sense of quality or "approval" to the brand. The crab is hand-drawn with ink then digitized to create an authentic ink-stamp effect.

The "Deviled Crabs" part of the name is made significantly smaller than the primary name of the company to help with the addition of other products later on, giving it less emphasis and making it easier to expand to other seafood products.
