Aus 19 Designs von 8 Designern wurde eine Gewinner gewählt.
*We are looking for a design that basically replicates that of the London Underground or similar rail/underground map but using the information of routes below as the alternative names for the station points.*
As a local support organisation for volunteering and community involvement (reg charity and not for profit organisation) we are looking for a new and unique image/artwork design for use on adverts, posters and banners to help us raise awareness of the benefits of volunteering within Scotland.
Our aim is to create this through a new campaign based on volunteering being a life journey – a journey that volunteers participate in with different reasons for their involvement and different key benefits to them of being a volunteer.
With this we would like to create a campaign/visual that almost represents these points as destinations and routes in the style of a subway/rail map with the key benefits as six chosen final destinations. Other benefits should be represented as substations on each of these journeys.
The six journeys would be to the following six destinations -

The six journeys should all begin from a central “station” which would be VOLUNTEER.
We have had a range of ideas including that the rail lines/track map could be set out across the whole of Scotland with the central station/hub of Volunteering being in West Dunbartonshire which is where we are based. (See attached map). Many of the tracks from different journeys pass through multiple stations.

The artwork/image is required for our initial marketing campaign (advert for our magazine/newsletter, posters and banner stand). The design should work well as stand-alone identity as well as in other pieces in the future (other promotional material, possible t-shirts etc)

Files to be delivered in vector formats as follows - Adobe Ilustrator (.ai) and (.eps), Photoshop vector format, jpegs and png formats.
It is key that the central point showing VOLUNTEER is central and stands out as the key message
Most importantly a design that shows what volunteering is all about!

1 star - Wrong direction, start over again with something completely different
2 star - some elements I like
3 star - getting closer but need revisions or a different take on your design
4 star - design is being considered
