We are an IT support company based in Camarillo, California (just north of Los Angeles county). We are big enough to be full-service and quite capable, but small enough that you can reach the owner and expect great service.
Our primary value to our customers is that we remove headaches. We know that what ever our customers business is, they don't want to spend their time and money on IT - they just want it to work, easily and all the time. That's what we do - we make it work, all the time, within their needs and budget.
Our personality is that we are 'people people', despite doing technical work. Some techies can't talk to non-techies- we can.
We have a logo and color scheme that we like and that we're using on our print material, and we're just looking for a fresher look for our web site. We will do the technical part of making the image into a web page, we just want a single image that incorporates our logo and existing colors.
No-nonsense business owners that are looking for help with IT support.
They may or may not be creatives. Most likely, they are business owners that will recognize a professional design (vs. one that engineers like us come up with), but that would not associate excessive detail or flourish with technical competency. In other words, we tend to think a simple clean design is the best way to convey professionalism in a technical field.
2 files:
***File #1:***
A high res image file that we will use for a web page. (.psd and .jpg)
Design: Must include our existing logo (red symbol at spartechnology.com)
Size: 950px wide, 700~725px high.
Colors: should be compatible with colors currently at spartechnology.com and our print collateral. Print collateral colors are primarily black/dark gray as a left side vertical stripe with red and white text. Dark red to black gradients are used as page headers with Arial white text. Ask if you'd like a sample file. Text on the 'central' part of the page is dark gray on white.
***File #2:***
An image to be used for a background image that File #1 will be centered within. Should be color-coordinated with the primary image and probably be a simple color gradient from top to bottom.
