I'm your average frustrated professional except that I believe my workplace and the organization I work for can be better. Not only for myself, but for everyone including my peers, management, and the organization as a whole. I'm an optimist, a problem identifier, and a solutions creator.
Initial target audience are twenty- and thirty-something professionals in large sprawled out organizations with several levels in their org's organizational structure. Their org suffers from communication barriers, red-tape, slow to change, incompetency, and lack of transparency and accountability. These professionals might be in healthcare, IT, finance, marketing, government, etc... Eary adopters of my concept will be "activist" minded users that won't accept the status quo.
I envision a comic strip like illustration in which there are a sequence of events that demonstrate a successful use case on OrgStorm.com. Be creative throughout. 900px wide.
F1: An average professional working in a cubicle is frustrated by something. Don't turn "something" into a specific, it can be almost anything the viewer can imagine.
(r1) Add thought cloud to worker "there has to be an easier way"
F2: The same worker thinks of an idea to solve his problem. A "light bulb" is shown above his head and he appears excited.
F3: The same worker remembers that due to the organization's beaurocratic culture innovation and new ideas aren't exactly encouraged. Management seems to like the status quo. Can be creative here.
(r1) Worker seems discouraged. Show thought cloud where the worker can envision his boss rejecting his idea out right.
F4: The same worker submits his idea into OrgStorm.com. He appears to be unsure taking this path will work.
F5: The next frame would be filled with a cloud that has randomly placed items extruding from the cloud. The items can be "thumbs up", the words "pros", "cons", "comments", "light bulbs", exclamation points, etc. The purpose of this frame is to reflect peer collaboration on the idea submitted to the site in a storm-like manner. You are welcome to be extra creative on this frame. (r1) the cloud should look like an actual cloud. it represents the OrgStorm system.
F6: Show the worker's boss looking at her monitor giving a "thumbs up" and saying (r1) "We should do this!".
F7: A month later, worker is happy in his cube. (r1) His job is less tedious.
F8: (r1) show the boss holding a report. thought cloud.."costs down, profits up!". the boss should look directly at the viewer with a pleasantly surprised expression.
