Gompels HealthCare Ltd
Operating from a large warehouse in Wiltshire, Gompels Healthcare are a niche supplier within the disposables and healthcare sector. Supplying to two main markets, carehomes and nurseries, Gompels deliver across the UK to as far north as Inverness and to as far south as Cornwall with an impeccable next day delivery service.
Just like Aldi & Lidl, Gompels are a discounter, with an aim to deliver good quality products at rock bottom prices. With high volumes, low margins, Gompels have built a reputation for fast & efficient service at a highly competitive price. As a supplier within the healthcare and disposables sector Gompels offer a wide range of products from disposables, janitorial, washroom, infection control, laundry, first aid, care & nursery products, suitable for everyday needs at affordable prices.
The main target audience for this project is for children under the age of 5. As one of Gompels HealthCares main markets is that of nurseries, it is very important that a design is achieved to attract a young audience and promote the message in hand.
Gompels do not only supply to nurseries, but do have a growing market share of supplying products to schools. As school children are between the ages of 5-16, it would also be very useful for the design to comply with this wide age group so the design can be used broadly throughout the different markets.
The aim of this project, is to design a tissue box with a design that is attractive to children and delivers a message. The design needs to be suitable and appealing to children or a variety of ages in order to promote the use of tissues and the “Catch it, kill it, bin it!” slogan.
“Catch it, bin it, kill it!” is a campaign to encourage the public to practice correct respiratory and hygiene when coughing and sneezing and to overall prevent the spread of germs particularly during the cold and flu season. The campaign has been launched to particularly target mothers with children under the age of 11 as they are generally the influencers within the family.
As the target audience is children, for this project we are happy to you a wide range as a colour scheme in order to attract the attension of our target audience.
Please contact me at clairep@gompels.co.uk for a logo which is used for the “Catch it, kill it, bin it!” campaign, an image of our tissue box at present and a template for which our existing tissue box is designed from. The template includes measurements as the tissue box does need to be of a certain size.
