Three Tips for Campus Survival
We are Red Mountain Books of Franklin, TN. We are releasing our first book nationally, a student survival guide called, "THREE TIPS FOR CAMPUS SURVIVAL." We are looking for a graphic designer to provide the book cover.
The book cover will be for a 8" x 5.5" paperback book.
This book is a hip yet spiritually directive book for 18-22 year old college students. Our company makes relevant products for religious people.
We are targeting an 18-22 year old college student. While we are a religious book publisher, we don't want to look religious...no icons or symbols. The students we're aiming at belong to fraternities and sororities, and are generally average college students with normal interests.
The book title is: "THREE TIPS FOR CAMPUS SURVIVAL"; subtitle is: "Holding on to Your Faith through Your College Experience"; author is: "CHUCK RYOR". The foreword author should be listed at the bottom of the page under the author's name: "Foreword by Dr. Steve Brown" ; Underneath that in smaller print "Author, Professor & Key Life Radio Bible Teacher." The book size is 8" x 5.5".
We'll have other books in the "THREETIPS" series. So, "FOR CAMPUS SURVIVAL" should be under THREE TIPS and the subtitle should be halfway down the page. "THREE TIPS" should be at the top of the front cover so it's visible on a book shelf if covered by other things. A dark blue and old gold motif is preferred - see a WVU football helmet - http://www.sportscrack.com/images/w…_large.jpg.
The THREE TIPS branding should resemble IMPACT or other college looking / backstage pass fonts; think "Warning." THREE TIPS should be in the old gold. The text for title page has been IMPACT for "THREE TIPS FOR CAMPUS SURVIVAL" and Bradley Hand ITC for the subtitle. Those fonts are negotiable, but this is the general direction we'd like to go. We'll use the new art on the title page.
The back cover will have three endorsements, an author mini-bio and picture, and a UPC code; the binding will have the title, author name and company logo. We can email you the required art.
