Be My Designer: Creative Book Cover Needed

My father and I are starting a series of books. The main heading is:
The Dumbest Things Smart People Say
the next line or lines is (are)
to ___________
The first book will be: ... to People with MS (or any invisible disease)
The second book will be:... to Old Folks

there will be many many more books to follow with different groups so the cover needs to be attractive and eye-catching to all

I need to be able to put a new group in the blank so please use a font any designer can easily change.

The template for the front and back cover are downloadable. There aren't enough pages for a spine.

You are welcome to use whatever you think will make this eyecatching and understandable (images, etc.).

Feel free to experiment with colors!

I'm not an expert in types of files. I need all formats that would be used online, in print media, to be uploaded to printers, book publishers, etc. At least these formats and any others you think I might need:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK) and .jpeg
Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)

Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo
Trim size: 5.25 x 8 inches
