Arilyn is an augmented reality application that displays a variety of content (videos, images, 3D models, 360 videos/panoramas, etc.) in response to various "triggers" (image targets, user interactions, advertising campaigns, etc.). Content can be saved and viewed on the user's device or streamed directly to the device over WiFi/mobile data.
The application makes use of ARKit/ARCore to allow users to place saved/pre-loaded content in the world around them. The application enables things like competitions, small games, and other more advanced interactions.
You can test the Arilyn app (available from iTunes/Google Play) using some targets on this page: http://arilyn.fi/arilyn-examples/
No requirement to follow the existing brand colouring (cyan) - the colour should be representable in both RGB and CMYK colour spaces (the branding colour will be used for both print and digital representations).
There are no other particular visual style requirements.

The current application is one work-flow of the overall desired functionality for the application. The application currently only scans image targets, and displays the content associated with them - as such, this "scanner" is the first thing that is shown upon application launch. The scanner does not need to remain the first step. We want to allow the user to select from multiple methods of acquiring new content, or viewing existing content.
Some things we would like to offer include: the pre-existing target scanner; the ability to interact with pre-loaded or previously downloaded content; updates/news relating to previously interacted content (such as continuing a treasure hunt, for example); promoted and/or "nearby" content (using location features).
There should also be some first-time onboarding process, that encourages user interaction and guides them to pre-loaded or promoted content as a first step.
There should be some means by which users can set some preferences, manage storage of content, and other similar administration tasks.
Default OS design elements (as this will be used on multiple platforms, through Unity).
