Wie sinosara das erste logo design Abenteuer antrat
Through my own practice of yoga I found a better way to live and that I wanted to share with people through the union of their own yoga. I became a Yoga Teacher in order to do this where I trained in India, Mysore and specialized in Hatha Yoga.
I'll be teaching directly to students and will eventually connect with students all over the world via my website, DVDs, reading material and other media outlets as my business grows.
I come from New Zealand but will initially be based in Costa Rica with the eventuality of returning home. Aotea-Yoga is a combination of where I'm from, 'Aotearoa' - Land of the long white cloud, and 'Yoga' obviously what I teach. 'Aotea' means long white cloud, 'yoga' means the union of 2 or more things, in this case, mind body & spirit.

As surfing is a passion of mine my main student body will be budding surfers to surfing enthusiasts.
My yoga is for adults (16+), any gender and all yoga levels. I will target people who are serious about enhancing their lives with yoga while creating a great balance with it.
-I want a clean, simple & timeless design with fresh cool colours having a feel of eco friendly/green living.
-I like the feel and look of the lotus flower & the spirituality of surfing, waves and freedom when either surfing or practicing yoga.
-I like the Sanscrit font but think it can be tidied and made more easily legible.
-I also like drawings of Mudras, which are hand gestures the most recognisable one is the fore finger and thumb touching with palms turned upward, however I have my reservations about using mudras...I'm not too sure why but perhaps I've not seen the right one yet.
-I want the logo to represent strength, beauty, calmness & surrender.
What I don't want:
-Stock images or clip art
-Figures of people in yoga poses
The files I will require are for print & web format.
