"DriverDoc" is a device driver update software that helps computer users find drivers that are outdated / corrupt / need updating. The product is very similar to "Driver Detective" or "Driver Genius". See drivershq.com for an example of the software.
The name "DriverDoc" is derived from how the software helps computers get "healthy" by updating drivers. Since most computers users are familiar with the benefits/functions of software such as "Spyware Doctor" and "PC Doctor", this branding conveys an immediate sense of what the software is designed to do.
The target audience is computer users who don't have the time or patience to track down drivers from all over the web on different manufacturers web sites.
Our customer is typically older (35-65+ years), mid-upper income ($75k+), with a lot of disposable income, but low on time and may have limited computer knowledge.
