The Williston Basin Petroleum Conference is hosted in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and brings together important participants from the Canadian and US oil and gas industry. The name Williston Basin comes from the Williston Basin, a geological oil and gas reservoir that primarily spans parts of the Canadian provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and US States of North Dakota, and Montana.
WBPC plans to focus on advances in new technologies and the promotion and advancement of innovative processes that are on the verge of field application. Also very important, the underlining theme of the conference is to drive economic development into the province of Saskatchewan. The working tag of the Williston Basin Petroleum Conference is “Saskatchewan Now”. The conference brings together leading executive speakers and thought leaders from across the Canadian and US energy sectors who offer innovative solutions to the current production challenges facing the oil and gas industries.
The conference is also shifting beyond the focus of just the geological zone outside of the Williston Bain itself and will now include keynote speakers and researchers in three main types of oil and gas reservoirs – heavy oil, tight oil, and the application of enhanced oil recovery technologies like CO2 flooding to different kinds of reservoirs.
We are looking for a new logo to reflect these keys aspects of the new Williston Basin Petroleum Conference:
We want the logo and branding to illustrate innovation and technologies
We want the logo and branding to illustrate the focus on high level keynote speakers (who speak talk to the future of oil and gas)
We want the logo and branding to reflect the audience - middle and senior industry representatives (looking for ways to meet the unique production challenges of their oil and gas assets)
We want the logo and branding to reflect the overarching theme of ‘Saskatchewan Now’
We would be interested to see designs that are the full name, plus tagline 'Saskatchewan Now' as well how it will look as WBPC2019 with the tagline.
