We are real estate web technology professionals launching a new site that will enable users to rate their satisfaction with the features of their current home in much the same way that Amazon users rate products. The individual feature scores are rolled up into an overall score for the home. Multiple people such as a wife and husband can participate and their scores combined. Multiple homes can be rated and compared if the user is buying a new home.

The target audience is home owners and house hunters. Realtors are a secondary audience since they will be encouraged to link to the site and recommend the site to their home buyers.
The logo will appear both on our site and on business cards. The logo could also appear in banner ads, but that is not the primary purpose Transparent gif or png format would be preferred for the website version.
All the designs we have kicked around include some sort of representation of a house. We are open to the entire range between abstract and realistic. The second component needs to represent exploration or judgment. We have thought about images such as the Roger Ebert thumbs-up and thumbs-down or some sort of magnifying glass. Again, use your imagination. Finally, we would like the design to include "YourHomeScore.com".
We want to emphasize the benefit of accomplishing the task, not the drudgery of filling out a form.
