Refined Internet is a team of enthusiastic web design professionals dedicated to meeting our client's business goals. Our passion for the projects we work on and the people we work with sets us apart from the competition and our experience and expertise enables us to create websites at the cutting edge of Internet technology that not only inspire visitors, but are effective in meeting our clients aims.
In a broader and less formal sense the new logo is part of a relaunch of the business that has so far been used as a freelance brand for myself. Work has been successful over recent years and has brought my decision to build the company into a small agency over 2011 and hence wanting to start with a strong re-brand to go forward with. In terms of personality the business is placed between those businesses operating in the freelance and city centre agency worlds. Whilst the brand is to be as professional as a city centre agency we also want to keep a focus on the personal touch and attention to detail that is often associated with freelancers.

Our main audience will be small to medium sized businesses with a long term plan to grow the online portions of their business. They’ve a modern approach to the Internet and want to be at the forefront of new developments with a proactive agency who can keep them at the bleeding edge of website technology. They aren’t interested in city slicker account manager types and welcome a more informal relationship with the people they work with, we want to be those people.
We’re looking for a logo and brand that oozes quality and keeps with our creative, modern approach to business. We don’t have particularly strict requirements with the brand being new, we’re happy to consider any designs that meet the overall aims, but we’ll be sure to give good feedback to submitted designs.
We’ve attached two examples of our current logo and our current (incomplete) website is located at http://www.refinedinternet.co.uk which gives a general feel of the current branding. At present our logo is fairly un-recognisable and doesn’t really reflect the direction we want to take the brand, we’re looking for something different. In terms of colours, we’re generally happy with the black, grey, white and baby blue mix – however we’re still more than happy to consider other colours.
Once we’ve got a brand and logo we’re happy with we’re very likely to be looking to get our wider document needs developed as well, so there’s the potential of further work for the winning designer should they be interested in taking the rest of our branding needs forward.
