SADDLEBACK CHURCH INTERNATIONAL LOGO:
Our church has had a global influence, mainly with training local pastors, for over 20 years. Now, we are prayerfully considering branching out with campuses in other countries other than the United States. I have included an image that shows some of our logos through the years. Saddleback Church has very humble beginnings and started as a small local church in the suburbs of Orange Country, California. A local landmark is the Saddleback mountain range, which is seen in the top two logos. Our current logo simplified the logo to just a signature “s”. With the possible move to international campuses, we see the need to change our logo so that it is not a letter of the English language, but still has the look and feel of Saddleback Church.
To the left of the logos, you will see some of the icons we use in our teaching of pastors about our philosophy of church vision and structure. For example, the top left image takes the bottom two and put them together as a logo (Fig. 1) that has been used in our church. The centric circles (Fig. 2) is a pathway that we intentionally move our attenders toward commitment. The baseball diamond (Fig. 3) is another pathway we use to fulfill God’s purposes in their lives. These are both very important in our purpose driven model of church, which will be used across the board in all Saddleback Churches.
The new logo design that we are looking for will incorporate these elements, without the use of the mountains or the signature “s”. We are open to your creativity here, but large crosses are not necessary in the logo design. The cross of Christ is central to our beliefs, but our desire is to be a vibrant church that is all about the community in which the campus is located, and giving care and help to individuals that leads them to God and life change.
