Wie Norm Sacuta das erste logo design Abenteuer antrat
Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems
Don't be shocked by the title! Scientists need snazzy logos too...
A logo is required for a project studying geologic basins in Saskatchewan, Canada. Specifically, the project is looking at fluids in the basin (underground), particularly brines (salty water) and petroleum. We are seeking to discover how petroleum was generated underground and where it migrated over geologic time.
Erzählen Sie uns, wer Sie sind und wen Sie erreichen wollen?
Mainly earth scientists involved in research and in oil exploration companies. Obviously, there will be a public presence for the logo on printed material and, possibly, web pages and public displays.
We must be clear: We do not want the very scientific name for this project (Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems) used in the logo.
The logo should present a project identifier that can stand alone WITHOUT THE PROJECT NAME.
Do not use an oil derrick in the logo.
The logo should represent in some manner geologic strata. Googling this term should be helpful if you are looking for examples of geologic strata. Do not be overly concerned about representing oil or water in the basin.
