Element 84
Element 84 is a brand new, small software development company that has long been the dream of the founder. Our company specializes in helping large and small companies with new technologies that their in-house staff doesn't have experience with. Projects are small, quick, and extremely high quality. Currently we work with clients on iPhone apps, cloud computing, and web apps.
A key part of what we do is helping the customer determine what _their_ needs are, and build that, rather than just building to a big requirements document. We build our projects in a rapid, iterative style (each release is measured in days to weeks). We expect that our customers stay engaged with us throughout the entire project, providing feedback, making suggestions, and working together with us to build the right app.
We'll use this logo as the centerpiece for our website and marketing materials for the new company. Typical clients would be large and small companies, as well as some government groups.
The logo should look professional, but have a modern feel. As far as colors go, we're flexible. We'd like to stay away from anything that can look too trendy, as we're hoping to use the logo for a while. We want to communicate that we are well versed in the latest technologies and that we can communicate the benefits and risks to our customers. We want to be viewed as partners with our customers.
Concepts we'd like our logo to communicate:
1. Confident in the latest technologies
2. Effective at communicating with executives and developers
3. Understand benefits and risks associated with new technologies
4. Partners with our customers - it's as much about education (in both directions) as it is about software development.
The files we require are:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo and we'd like the images to be hi-res enough that we can use them for t-shirts, the website, and business cards.
