We are a dj association formed 1988 in Royal Institute of technology in Stockholm. We have been playing and delivering mobile sound systems to a large variety of venues and events such as student parties, wedding and company parties. Until now, we have not put any special resources in marketing and promotion because we have been the only obvious choice for customers inside the campus. But now, we want to reach out more to external clients and companies.

The logo should CATCCH YOUR ATTENTION if you are an event planner for your company or browsing a wedding guide page after djs for your upcoming wedding. The logo should be attractive to anyone who is searching dj solution in general. It will be used on homepage, business cards, banner and so on.
The designer is given much freedom, as we have not decided on any color scheme or theme. Let the creativity flow! The signals that the logo should generate is FUN (because its party), hip/cool (we make the party) but at the same time PROFESSIONALISM, CLEAN and TRUSTWORTHY to not scare away the serious customers who just want things to run smoothly.
It would also be great if the logo had any of the dj elements as records, cds, turntables, level meters, mixer, headphones (NOT HEADSETS) and speakers or something else that relates to DJing. But only if you feel that you can mix those with the logo in a professional way.
The logo should have both words Platoon and DJs. Capital letters is up to you.
And please try to keep from the military style since we don't want to relate to that, although our name maybe does.
