GlobeHike.com - is a portal to new and archived outdoor adventures from around the globe. Solo or group. Land or water.

The most important product and service we have to offer will be the proprietory "funding engine". We will provide a system that enables the modern day explorer to raise money for their adventure.

GlobeHikers will be "Wired for Adventure" so others can follow the adventurer with live video streaming, photo's, blogs, chat. Imagine you are an explorer trekking around the globe in a 30 foot sailboat! You are connected with our audience via remote satellite communications.

GlobeHike is a "for profit" business, however, one of our most popular features will be GlobeHike "4ACause". Pledge funds to a charitable foundation in support of your favorite GlobeHike.

Our audience will be professional and amateur outdoor adventurers.

The professional explorer/adventurer makes up 2% of the population and will be reached through existing markets such as trade publications for Diving, Cycling, Hiking, Climbing, Caving, Mountaineering, etc.

The amateur adventure category is comprised of 25% of the population who have the desire to put together their own outdoor adventure. They see themselves as a part time explorer willing to try new things but have been limited in their trips by a lack of funding.

The mission of GlobeHike is to recognize and promote both professional and amateur expeditions and provide them with a means for funding, while encouraging an audience to follow their favorite GlobeHike by going to our website and tracking the progress through interactive video streaming, photo's, blogs, and chat.

A GlobeHike can be a solo expedition to the north pole, a group road bike trip to Italy, a family scuba dive trip to remote Pacific islands, an athlete traveling to a sports camp, scientific research of endangered species in Papua New Guinea, as well as trips that benefit charity foundations through the efforts of the person promoting a GlobeHike.

Our audience is made up of two types of users, person (s) that do the adventuring (GlobeHiker) and those that are "fans" of a GlobeHike.

Anforderungen

GlobeHike is not a travel company. We do not fund trips for pleasure. We offer more than just "hiking" adventures.

We want the logo to be social media friendly. Print file formats as well as web file formats.

The logo needs to convey outdoor adventure, a funding resource, and imply "GlobeHike" is not limited to "hiking" only. A GlobeHike can take the form of many types of adventure, found anywhere in the world.

Please keep the word "GlobeHike" as one word, with a capital "G" and a capital "H". Use earthtone colors. We are all about the natural world.
