Black River Roasters
We are a coffee roasting company currently located in Burlington, Vermont. We started out as an online retail business and quickly expanded into the wholesale market as demand for our product skyrocketed. We have one of the best scientists/master roasters in the business which ensures that our coffee is perfectly roasted everytime. Our premium organic, fair trade and rainforest alliance coffees are packaged and sold as whole beans in 12 oz, 16 oz & 5 lb bags. They are nitrogen flushed and have one way valves which ensures freshness.
We are changing our name to Black River Roasters because our current name was created for online sales and it really is confusing as an actual name (Fresh Coffee Now). It sounds like a tag line describing the product. BRR has meaning to my partner and myself because it is a river that runs through the town where I grew up and currently live.
While we are still roasting in VT, we are expanding into the NJ tri-state area and will most likely begin roasting here in the next year. The market here is tremendous and it's where we are now living. We've been selling mostly by word of mouth as a test market and are now ready to move with a new name and a new branding/marketing campaign. To get an idea of the look we are going for, please look at the logo rendering that we currently have and like. I will attach it here.
Erzählen Sie uns, wer Sie sind und wen Sie erreichen wollen?
Target audience is really any/all coffee drinkers who appreciate perfectly roasted coffees from around the world. In a nutshell, our coffee is how coffee should taste! It's not burnt and drinking it black is the best -- smooth and flavorful from start to finish.
So basically what we want is a logo that has our name (or initials) and it stands out. It needs to be able to fit on a t-shirt or a hat and on say 3x3" stickers. We also need it to be incorporated onto our bags, pumpskins, and other marketing materials. As I mentioned earlier, we like the attached artwork (a lot) and would just like it to be perfected. We love the river scene and the sycamore tree but are a bit stuck on color. We are currently looking at a blueish green color with black font shadowed by white. I will attach the colored ones too.
Really, we are open to your creativity and look forward to seeing any designs that you think would work for us.
