Many of our designs incorporate large scale stones and have a weighty, earthy feel to them. Yet we also feature delicate and very simple designs. The common theme is that they are all inspired by a pristine beach with big boulders and Caribbean water.
We want the colors of the jewelry to take center stage so we're looking for a design that is mostly neutrals with just a hint of aqua-green/blue. Translation to black/white is important.
For our logo- we'd like shapes that pick up on a day at the beach- pebbles, water, waves, relaxing, maybe the curves of a sail- though we'd like to keep the logo abstract.
We'd like more emphasis on Aquatic than on Belle.
We want the font and overall of effect of the logo to feel coherent (a theme that joins the font, brand name, logo and product). We'd like the image to feel 'designed' and original- Blending a mix of establishment with arty. We're hoping for a logo that will stand alone as a jewelry tag. However, if we end up with a design that will work as earring tags and will stand strongly on our website, that's a good start.
We plan to use the logo in various applications so it needs to look good:
* in different sizes
* on different materials,
* and in grayscale
* works as stamp on different colored backgrounds- we'd like to use the logo part of the image as a stamp on metals and burn into shell coins.
*We may want to add a tagline occassionally, so the design should have room to accommodate this
-Design that holds up in black and white
-A logo that builds upon the font/brand name in some way
* It should be usable on the right or left side of a page
* It should not include restrictive elements that would make it hard to embed in other graphics
* No clipart
Formats (all should be provided)
* CMYK image in Adobe Illustrator AI
* Layered RGB file in Photoshop PSD
* Jpeg and Png versions
* Fonts used in the design
