The phrase GO HARD means:To do something to the fullest without allowing yourself to abandon/surrender/quit the assignment at any point.
It is a BOLD AND BRAVE statement that someone will say to communicate that they will pour their heart, soul and mind into something and, even when it is all empty, they will find a way to pour more until the job is complete. It is a CONFIDENT/DECLARATIVE statement that one will be impenetrable, basically unyielding to pressure, to the point where no barrier you can think of (not sweat, tears, pressure, frustration, humiliation, etc) will prevent them from reaching their desired goal.
This, therefore, is a brief to design a logo that captures a bold and unique approach to pursuing ones goals, dreams, passions, and aspirations.
This statement is catching on in twitter (#gohard), extra points for thinking through how the hashtag (#) might be incorporated in the design.
There are two audiences to consider:
"I need help along the way"
Chasing your dreams is tough. Accomplishing difficult goals aren't usually even fun. They're not comfortable. They are not even easy. It's so much easier quit. Or perhaps not even try. These are the people that need motivation getting started or continuing the difficult task they set out to attain.
"This is how I am!"
And then there are those that live this as a lifestyle. Those who do everything to the fullest and leave nothing behind. They outwork everyone. They are fearless when it comes to taking risks. They don't care about being uncomfortable, they just GO HARD. A commercial that captures the heart of this target was done by Nike; two football players who GO HARD by leaving nothing left on the football field: http://bit.ly/aaj2kG What logo would you put on their chest? For them, this is just a statement about the way they live life.
We are looking for you to give us the best way to consistently communicate 'GO HARD' in a visual way
GO HARD on this design
Imagine it on web sites, sports bands, t-shirts, whatever is necessary to make the idea spread
Please don't use anything that would increase the cost (stock images, etc) unless you absolutely feel like it is necessary
