The target audience is professional photographers (wedding, product, journalism, etc.) This is a new company. I will have online workshops to teach how to have complete control of color in the imaging chain from capture to print. (photography, RAW image processing, editing, monitor display, projection, inkjet print, offset print, etc.) I will also have a membership where the photographers can get extra support implementing what they learn in the workshops.

I am attaching a graphic with the seven brand colors. Please use the three with outlines first as they represent the company's core values. You may use any or none of the rest of the colors. Note, please use the yellow carefully being mindful of how it might disappear if used with thin lines or get lost against a white background. Use your judgment. I would like a logo that is unique and NOT cliché. Do not pay too much attention to the logos selected in the design inspiration section. I do like them, but feel free to create anything that meets the description below. My background is as a photographer and color scientist. I will teach difficult and complex topics in a very non-technical way, thus the brand name Easy Color Photography. The name can be read two ways. "Easy" Color Photography, but it also conveys "Easy Color" Photography. Most people will think of the first, I want to also suggest the second with the logo. Perhaps the design can help with this. "Easy Color" is the most important concept to convey in the logo. The logo should convey the company's three top values: 1. Simplicity - Representing how I distill complex topics into something that is easy, approachable, and is presented in a down-to-earth manner (not a lot of high-tech language). 2. Reliable - Easy Color Photography will be known as the authority on controlling color for photographers. We will be the trustworthy authority on the topic that can be understood by photographers. We will provide the expert pieces of training that photographers can rely on. 3. Optimistic - When photographers take one of our workshops, they will become excited by the new possibilities in front of them. They will have control of color like never before and will now see the potential that lays ahead. Shapes: Squares with rounded corners, pattern with natural texture and substance, slightly informal illustrative style with substance. Fonts: Select a unique font with clarity and rounded shapes Textures: You probably will not use any textures in the logo, but if you do, choose clean, glossy textures. Glints and sparkles. Fine lines. Anything with the appearances of movement. Please do not make the work Photography too secondary. I do not want it to read as though it is "Easy Color" Photography studio. When photography becomes more secondary, it makes it seem this way to me. I want people to first see the connection "Easy Color" but also to see the connection "Easy" Color Photography with an emphasis on "easy". I hope that makes sense. I'd prefer the icon to work with the text in the logo, but also stand on its own.
