Ugly Feet, http://www.youruglyfeet.com
We are creating a host of all-natural foot-care products geared toward the hard-core endurance athlete--runners, triathletes, marathoners, ultra-marathoners, trekkers, Ironman competitors. These products help feet recover from punishing training and also increase the resilience of the skin so blistering, cracking and bleeding are eliminated during training and race day.
Our main product is an effervescent foot soak that the athletes use while soaking their feet in a small tub of warm water after a hard work-out or race event. The effervecence is bubbly, tingly and refreshing. The core ingredients are invigorating and helpful for foot vitality and stamina.
We are targeting triathletes, marathoners, and competitive trekkers. We want the logo to have a masculine look, rather than a feminine look. However, both genders will be buying and using these products, so lets not scare off the ladies. There is no foot care brand focusing on the combination of only feet and hard-core endurance athletes to our knowledge. These people are extremely competitive, affluent, and are looking for the edge that will help their bodies and improve their race times.
How often to people take care of their feet? We want to make taking care of your feet be seen as smart and offering racers a competitive advantage.
Output formats needed (all three needed):
- .ai vector
- layered .psd file with logo and text as individual scalable smart objects
- 4 - color CMYK
We really do like the blue and green colors in our samples.
Blue is: 166aa4
Green is: 83c341
We are looking to update/overhaul/sharpen the look of our existing logo. We really do like the U and F forming an easily recognizable foot shape. We want to keep that feature--only make it better.
Our hope is to have the logo and font more accurately reflect these words:
.Masculine foot soak
.A slightly funny touch (the name is funny), for a serious product
.The idea that UGLY FEET would point to an unspoken badge of honor
The text needs to be clear to read--very important as this text will be printed on small bottle labels as well as large banners for race events. Besides clarity, the text needs to be something cool, edgy and fitting for the logo and brand.
Our current tagline is "take care of what moves you".
The two example logos we uploaded include water droplets and also a background effect. You don't have to keep these if you don't like the look, however our main product is fizzy/bubbly/effervecent so bubbles may be helpful if used properly.
Try us, we'll let you know what we like.
