We are a "Young & Hungry" group of guys that are determined to create the best platform on the internet for educational material and information with regard to trading stocks, options, futures, and other financial instruments. The vision is to create "A Think Tank for Traders" that allows individuals to access free market related content (blog, video, etc), premium content, real time virtual Trader coaching, and other great content/products. The goal is to eventually allow promising individuals to contribute content to the site.
Our primary target audience is active Trader's, no matter what age. We also intend to attract beginner/intermediate Trader's that are looking for a place to access/learn everything they could possibly need to increase their abilities as a Trader.
The name TickerTank is derived from two concepts. A "Ticker" is a stock symbol that relates to a publicly traded company. For example, the stock ticker for Google is GOOG and the stock ticker for Apple is AAPL. "Tank" is referring to a think tank. Somewhere people can go to think about their next trade, gather information, talk to other traders about their potential play, etc...
The goal with this logo is to portray the fact that TickerTank is "A Think Tank for Traders." We don't necessarily want that slogan visible on the logo, but are open to it being visible if you can display it in a creative manner that isn't overwhelming.
We want the logo to eliminate any negative connotation to the word "tank" being that it could be attributed to the market selling off, aka "tanking".
We do not want any military tanks used in this logo design.
Clean & simple is the feel we are aiming for with the site. We would like the logo to reflect that.
We will need high resolution.jpg, .png, and .psd (raw photoshop) files , as well as a black-and-white version.
Please refrain from using ".com" in the logo. Make sure TickerTank is one word, and that the "T's" are capitalized.
