Clobber Australia is a manufacturer of Australian Made sheepskin footwear and associated products. The company has been in operation for over 30 years. In the last 5 years our products have become increasingly popular in the Northern Hemisphere hence we are wanting to establish a fresh new logo that will help develop and grow our branding in this part of the world. Besides the functional aspects of sheepskin footwear (ugg boots) they have also become a hot fashion item, particularly in Europe and North America, and Asia. We focus on the more quality end of the market using only the finest quality sheepskins and other materials. We would want to appeal more so to the younger age-bracket (12-35). The key points to consider in designing the logo would be fun, fashionable, cool, premium quality product, Australian, simple yet effective. An example of the leading company within our industry is "UGG AUSTRALIA" - http://www.uggaustralia.com. We will aim to position ourselves at a similar level.

We are targeting a younger age group (12-35) in both Australia as well as Europe, North America & Asia.
The main emphasis should be on the word "clobber" with the word "Australia" being smaller. The logo will need to be simple enough to be used in different applications e.g. embroidery etc..
Font selection should be easy to read. Keep in mind that this logo will appear on the footwear itself so we do want it to stand out.
Otherwise the designer has total freedom to be creative.
