Looking to revamp and refresh our existing logo. We are fundamentally happy with the logo we already have, but the time is right to freshen things up a bit, and we are open to new ideas.
NB Communication Ltd is a web design and Internet marketing agency based in the Shetland Islands, Scotland.
On 1st April 2008, the business became a limited company - NB Communication Ltd. This was a significant change for the businees, and it is felt that this is an appropriate time to re-vamp the logo.
Note: until 1st April 2008, the business name was all lower case - 'nb communication', as in the existing logo. Now, this has changed to 'NB Communication Ltd' (or just 'NB Communication' in some circumstances). The text of the new logo must reflect this.
Download our existing logo here.
The text should be 'NB Communication', with 'N', 'B' and 'C' is capital letters, and the rest in lower case.
The new logo should have strong, bold typography. We like the text (although not always the colours) in these logos:
Generally, we prefer the text style that is referred to as 'The Classics' in this article:
We like the icon between "nb" and "communication" in the current logo, but we think it could be revamped and improved.
We are open to all your ideas for refreshing or replacing the icon.
We are also keen to see ideas for the placement of the icon - it does not necessarily have to be between 'NB' and 'Communication'.
Also, the current logo is very flat (i.e. 2D). We would like to see some ideas for giving our logo a bit more 'depth'.
We are happy with our current red / white / grey colour scheme but we would like to see new ways to apply this to the logo to make it generally fresher and more striking. That said, we are not completely closed to completely new colour ideas either, so feel free to propose ideas that are different to what we have already.
5. General Considerations:
The logo must make NB Communication Ltd appear as a solid, professional and very dependable company.
The deliverable for this project shall be a suite of logo files in different formats (including resizable vector format) enabling us to immediately use the logo as and when required both online and offline, and also to use it at different sizes in future.
We welcome all your ideas, and will strive to provide meaningful feedback quickly.
Dont' use ALL CAPITALS ... only the 'N', 'B' and 'C' should be capitalised.
