Club India
We have successfully relocated a well liked Indian restaurant from a quiet part of Edinburgh to a busy street and bigger premises and we are doing a makeover - low-key slick modern interior with images of ancient Indian architecture, see http://www.club-india.com. We suggest a logo that uses the ornately carved stone wheel on the ancient Surya Hindu Temple, Sun Temple, at Konark (and is in the top left hand corner of the website, we are using this wheel on our current menu and in the interior design).
The logo is for the front inside window (to be approximately100cm by150cm, but also to be used in press advertising).
We are trying to be excellent but at an acceptable price and create a warm friendly atmosphere with welcoming professional service. However, we assume that our target audience expect a quality food and cleanliness of premises, so we do not want to use anything common like "finest food". For our marketing We want to concentrate on an experience which can be connected to senses: visual (interior), audio (music), taste (authentic flavorsome Indian food) etc. We are planning marketing which will include different events and adverts around "senses" to remember the "experience" in Club India.
Unpretentious
Aspirational
Culturally educated
Will pay for recognisable quality
easy going
LOGO for use -
Inside window (100cm x 150cm)
On menus
on press adverising.
Not too complex but must include the ("feel"/texture of) stone carving Konark wheel (not necessarily in real sense but as part of the theme). Very visually striking, opened&warm but slick logo.
We are using Agency FB font in low case for the sign "club india".
