Sarah Langner Photography-- Identity Project
I am moved by the beauty in everyone and every situation. I love working with people and children and do portrait and event photography in the San Francisco Bay Area. My goal is to capture the uniqueness of my subject in an image-the beauty, energy, and subtleties of personality.
Also, beginning in San Francisco I am building a portrait representation of diversity in the Bay Area and the United States. I would like to have a clear simple logo that represents my professionalism and photo-journalistic style, and is adaptable to my unique projects around the US and world. These projects will focus on diversity, human rights, and opening the eyes and minds of those who see them.
Intelligent, professional, creative parents--mothers and fathers of babies, children, athletes, graduates, birthday boys and girls--- and individuals who are interested in quality photography for their family and special events.
They may speak English or Spanish or Russian or French.
My website is transition, under construction. http://www.sarahlangner.com to see some of my portrait work. I'm launching a site at livebooks.com with the material you produce.
I'd like my logo to be applicable to my business card and website. I like clear simple design, sometimes with the name in 2 colors (first and last). I'd prefer my first name emphasized because my last name is hard to pronounce. or some visual emphasis of the 2 'n' s in Langner. I like designs with black/silver/grey/white combos. I also like fun, creative, multicolor ideas. I'm not good at graphic design and look forward to suggestions.
I want a card to pass out in SF with my project on it, with date/time to show up for a portrait. that would be very simple, or mysterious and intriguing.
For the website and portrait work I want to feel simple, creative, accessible. Not cutesy, girly, or bubbly. I like images that are very visually sticky. Unique.
Thank you for reading this and for your input. I appreciate it. And for the winner, i'd love to work with you going forward on the spinoffs of my SF project. Sarah
