Tagline: See description...tagline is optional Desired Color Scheme: blues are preferred Accepted File Formats: EPS (vector-based for printing) Note: The logo may be used with other businesses we run not related to snowplows, therefore, we need the logo to look good with or without any snowplow graphics. Please keep this in mind. Here are some questions and answers that might help you out: Project Summary: -What text should be included in the main part of the logo? "CPW" and "Central Parts Warehouse". Our current logo just has CPW so we need to keep that as our tens of thousands of customers know us by our intials. But a lot of people know us as "Central Parts Warehouse", so we'd like that incorporated as well. -What type of product or service do you offer? Snow & Salt Removal Equipment and their replacement parts -What do you hope to accomplish with your new identity? Instant company recognition or branding. -What are your long term goals? To make our customers think "Central Parts Warehouse" when they have a parts or equipment need for their snowplow. Audience Profile: -Please describe your existing audience. We have three classes of customers: Individual Plow owners, Municipalities and our new "Reseller" division. Perception/Tone/Guidelines: -Do you have any colors in mind for your logo? (if so, why?) We have always been partial to blue - but it is not mandatory. -Do you have any specific images or icons in mind that you would definitely like to see incorporated into your logo? Our business is in a very niche industry. We would think it would be advantageous to have some sort of a snowplow image in the logo as we currently have. Communication Strategy: -What attributes would you like your logo to reflect about your business? We like the "keep it simple" idea. Sometimes less is more although it would be nice to let people know we've been around since 1980 although not mandatory. -What is your tagline or slogan? We have used "Snow & Ice Control Specialists - Since 1980" in the past. But this doesn;t have to be in the logo unless you think it looks good and makes sense. -What is the overall message you are trying to convey to your target audience? That we are the pros & are extremely experienced in this industry -Where will your new logo be used? Web site primarily, but will be used on business cards and letterhead Competitive Positioning: -Who are your competitors and what do you think about their logos? (list competitive URLs) Most all of our competitors are in other industries as their main source of business. They have entered our into industry and cherry pick it. This is all we do - 12 months out of the year. We have over 120 years of combined experience in this industry with our employees. We have better than average discounts and our parts meet or exceed the Original Manufacturers quality.
