Logo needed for weekly club night

Scream!

I am a DJ, promotor and blogger called Asim Fiction (http://www.asimfiction.com).

Based in hong kong I have a weekly night called Scream! which is in need of a good logo.

We play a fairly new genre in music called indie-dance that through both my blog and my night I am trying to expose people in hong kong to.

I am an open and funny guy, not looking for a cartoon-image here but if you put a cheeky smile on my face i'm more likely to pick you.

My audience are based in hong kong.

They are usually hong kong english speaking students (18+) or expats moved over from Europe or the US (till about 35)

I do want to appeal to more of the young professional (25-35) rather than student market.

I appeal to those wanting something alternative, they don't usually watch MTV, they don't usually go out to RnB/HipHop nights, they are more likely to go out to concerts, they are more likely to be on the creative side, they usually dress pretty fashionable, they don't work in banks, they do listen to a lot of music during the day, they are not rich.

Looking for a simple yet eye catching logo.

It needs to work in various colours and needs to be able to work as a solid colour.

It needs to work on a large range of sizes. I need to print off a BIG banner with the logo to put up behind the DJ booth (6 foot by 4 foot).

It needs to work on printed A2 posters with a variety of background colours.

It will also be stamped on photos of the event in the bottom right hand corner so again needs to be recognisable when printed in a small scale as well.

I am expecting a lot more than just a good font with some shading.

The night has a lot of high-energy drunken revelry to it, its a place people go to to enjoy music, drink, dance and have a good time. Its not a night people go to to buy bottles of champagne, sit and smoke cigars in the VIP area.
