This is a logo for our company and for a consumer product both with the same name - GameDay Vision. We are a young company with a new product that will revolutionize the way fans experience professional sporting events. We will be selling the device for NFL games THIS season and hope to be in all other sports very soon. While at an NFL game, fans will be able to see instant replays from multiple camera angels (End Zone, 50 Yard line etc); stats from current game; scoreboard & individual stats of all other NFL games; real-time performance of fantasy team; the NFL RedZone; other NFL games being played; highlights of the game being watched; network and in-stadium live action feeds. It gives fans Special Access that they can't get at home or on the internet. We want to make going to the game as exciting as watching Monday Night Football.
The company has been around for a few years under the name Kangaroo TV but we are in the process of changing our name to GameDay Vision.
If you go to the existing website click on the box that says "Gen III" or "Dolphins" to see the device that will be used in the NFL this year.
This device is for sports fans. Initially it will just be used in the NFL but in the next few years we are hoping to expand to all other sports. The market will be those people who are season ticket holders or who go to a few games a year. The device can be used by people of all ages but we think that it will be mostly men from 18-40 that will initially buy the device. Could also be a great gift for Dad, uncle, husband, boyfriend. The fan will not be opposed to bringing another device with them to the games and will not be scared off by the new technology. Some people will be complete sports nuts who want to know what is happening with every player in every game while others just want to be able to watch their other favorite team.
We do not want an icon or symbol, rather want to stick to just using the words "GameDay Vision" in an interesting type/font/colors. We want the GameDay to be one word and to have the "G", "D" and "V" capitalized. GameDay and Vision do not have to be on the same line. We want it to look serious but interesting and fun. This logo will go on business cards, website, email blasts, packaging etc. In addition, the logo will go onto the device. Please see the attachment to see where on the device it will go and the size. I do not necessarily have a concept in mind but have thought about the following:
I liked the following fonts because they look a bit like "old school" sports font; however, I am not stuck on this idea.
http://new.myfonts.com/search/life (search "life after college")
One possibility that I liked is the NBC Sports logo without the peacock at the top (please do not copy)
