Tailors Mark has recently formulated a business and marketing strategy and the need has arisen to lock down a suitable brand strategy. A logo / brand mark is to be developed immediately that will essentially form the basis for all marketing materials.
The logo / brand mark will be the overarching element that defines the brand values and all other creative branding material will flow on from this. This includes the website design / look and feel, brochures, packaging, flyers etc. At present no branding exists.
The logo / brand mark should ultimately convey messages along the lines of:
– Trendy/Cutting Edge
– Modern – We want to be heard by 20-35 year olds.
At this stage no design examples have been selected.
It would be good if we could formulate a brand that has a clearly identifiable logo that we can put on the shirts and polo’s (i.e. Lacoste, Jack Wills, Ralph Lauren). Some sort of “mark” that is easily identifiable with the brand.
Another thought was the use of a ‘candy stripe’ effect on the logo/color scheme so that the brand can be identified by both the logo and the ‘candy stripe. However, this is left at the discretion of the designer.
