Contest for a logo for crowdSPRING, a new company involved in the creative process. We help to generate ideas and visual concepts. We love the idea of networks or groups of people contributing to a solution, idea, process, or project. Logo should not be too "cartoony" or too "technical". We like Web 2.0 styles. Nov. 30, 2006 Update: please see our general comments below.
Desired Color Scheme:
Open to suggestions. Just donÂ’t use too many colors.
The logo should not feel either too “cartoony” or too “technical.” We want to convey friendly, open, creative, fresh, and people oriented, and simple – not busy. We want the logo to be contemporary (i.e. Web 2.0 style) and professional.
Accepted File Formats:
Vector or AI, PSD, and EPS (winner to send original layered files and fonts), should include hi-res for printing
crowdSPRING is a new company involved in the creative process (website not yet up). We help to generate ideas and visual concepts. We love the idea of networks or groups of people contributing to a solution, idea, process, or project.
Please submit only original work.
We are open minded about this logo. We have been extremely impressed by the quality of the designers on this site and even more impressed by the creativity of the designers. We look forward to seeing that creative process in action.
We like all three common meanings of the word spring: i.e. the source of a river or stream, the season, or a mechanical device that goes boing.
The logo must include the name crowdSPRING (while we will have a website, we do not want the ".com" in the logo). We like the lower and uppercase letters as typed here, but we are open to suggestions on better ways to write our name.
Winning logo will be used on our website and in print.
The winning designer will need to sign a simple work-for-hire agreement (that we will provide by email) transferring all rights to the logo to us upon full payment to the designer.
Good luck to all! We look forward to seeing your entries.
UPDATE: Please see our general comments, particularly those from November 28 and 30 to get more specific feedback on what we found we like so far.
