A licensed club is a member based organisation that provides a variety of services to its members, These services include restaurant and food facilities, venue and event hire, gaming (in particular, poker machines), live entertainment, gymnasium and sporting facilities, child minding, and a wide range of other services. It would be fair to state that many of the larger licensed clubs provide large scale casino style facilities for members and guests. Most Australian’s have a good idea of what a licensed club is and what they do.
The primary audience for the website will consist of individuals who have arrived via organic search, whilst seeking out a restaurant, wedding or function venue, live entertainment, or some other related search. The demographic is very wide indeed and encompasses all ages, genders, regions and socio-economic groupings. Because of the large number of services provided by licensed clubs the logo will by necessity have to appeal on many different levels.
The logo needs to convey to our target audience just what the website is all about, without them needing to give the matter any thought. The logo is very much about sending a message to consumers of knowing what the business does instantly and conveying a significant “feel good” factor. We would also like to convey a central feeling of trust – a source that can be trusted to deliver the kind of results that searchers need.
At this stage we have no preference for any particular kind of design. Care should be exercised by designers not to make the logo too busy – we are looking for a very clean design that consumers will not struggle with visually. The logo will be used on a range of mediums incorporating digital, print, uniforms, motor vehicles, billboards, etc. We have no colour preferences, but designers need to be mindful of the variety of mediums on which the logo will be used and the effect that colours will have at various sizes. We want a great result and encourage you to ask questions.
