Local Honcho

We're a 2-man shop- a web designer and a copywriter/internet marketing guy. At Local Honcho, we build lead-generating websites for local businesses, and provide local SEO services so they can dominate their niche.

Even though I'm a web designer, my logo design skills aren't the best, so I've decided to let you create my logo.

We work on a national level, but local scale. Our ideal customers are local professionals and small businesses who serve their immediate communities and would benefit from locally-targeted, lead-generating websites.

That includes:

Honcho, noun:
"A person in charge of some group or of some function, usually a male person."

We want something that suggests dominance, or owning a market segment, being the best among your competitors.

We'd like to see an illustrated character, possibly a sumo wrestler, but we're certainly open to other ideas that fit the concept of dominance.

The tone should be more cute, less aggressive and intimidating.

The website will likely feature orange and red tones, so the logo shouldn't clash with those colors. However, if you have a brilliant concept in a different color scheme, we'll consider it.

Also, if we choose your design, there is a definite possibility that we will hire your for future character illustrations.
