Ingenuity Hosting
We are a well-established web hosting company that has been providing services to small-medium sized Australian businesses for the last 8 years. We pride ourselves on our extremely high level of customer service and work closely with our clients to provide a very personalised style of technical support.
The dictionary definition of Ingenuity (our company name) is "the quality of being cleverly inventive or resourceful". Ingenuity refers to the process of applying ideas to solve problems or meet challenges - we do this everyday for our clients. Basically we're a team of geeks that care - we use our tech skills and 'ingenuity' to remove all stressful website, domain name and email challenges so our clients can get on with their business.
While being intelligent, helpful and professional - we are also a very fun and happy company.
We currently work with small - medium sized Australian businesses, but really we want to appeal to anyone that has a website, domain name and/or emails and doesn't want to worry about technical issues that can occur as part of these services. Businesses that want to work with a tech company they can trust.
Our core business is - web hosting, email hosting, domain names and web servers. We want our audience to understand this and not confuse us with web development companies.
When the business first started we designed our own logo (which can be found here: http://www.ingenuity.net.au/old-logo.jpg). After a couple of years we felt we needed to make the logo look more professional and paid a graphic designer for the logo we're currently using - http://www.ingenuity.net.au/current-logo.jpg
We're now in the process of redesigning our website and believe we should update the company branding.
The things we like about both old and current logo's are: colours - blue and green; the use of uppercase/lowercase text for iNGENUiTY; the simplicity of both designs.
What we don't like with the current logo is the grey gradient background. This prevents the logo from being usable on certain colour backgrounds and for the logo to look it's best, it needs to be positioned and formatted correctly. There has also been issues with embroidering the logo onto business shirts. If the grey is removed, the light-bulb doesn't stand-out enough. We want a logo that is more versatile without the restrictions we've found with the current design.
We're open to new ideas, but would also be happy with something that incorporates elements of our old and current logo.
