Malladi Bariatrics and Advanced Surgery
I am a female general surgeon who is incredibly excited to start a practice in Dallas, Texas. My education and training have been of the highest caliber, and I continually strive to deliver the highest level of care to my patients. My core values are compassion for and commitment to my patients, ethics and professionalism, clear communication and education, and meticulous surgical skill.
Being a general surgeon means I perform surgery mainly on the organs within the abdomen - stomach, esophagus, intestines, gallbladder, spleen, adrenal, etc.
I also have fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery (using small or no incisions) and with specialized training in weight loss (or "bariatric") surgery including the gastric bypass, the sleeve gastrectomy, and the gastric band. So my practice encompasses both general and bariatric surgery.
Bariatric surgery is quite different from general surgery because bariatric surgery is not covered by all insurances; there are strict requirements for coverage; the treatment of obesity requires coordination with other experts including nutritionists, psychologists, fitness experts etc; and the field usually has more direct marketing to patients and patient self-referrals.
So the marketing effort for my practice will be focused more on my bariatric audience but should be flexible to connect with nonbariatric patients.
My market involves all adult surgical patients (wide age range and all socio-economic levels) as well as primary care physicians or other specialists who may refer their patients to me. So both a medical audience as well as the public.
For bariatric surgery in particular, the audience are 80% women in their 20s through 50s. Most are interested in surgery so they can resolve some of their weight related health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure etc. They want to be more active for their children/family and live longer. A good cosmetic result is just an added bonus.
I need a branding design and logo for my practice.
1. I like sophisticated, clean, modern designs with fresh, bright colors (not pastels). I would like a red flower (sunflower type) as a symbol but open to other color choices (could have different colors alternating petals and center).
2. Please incorporate "Malladi Bariatrics and Advanced Surgery" into the overall look. One idea I like is having the symbol on top, then "Malladi", and then "Bariatrics and Advanced Surgery" underneath in different font and/or color.
Once the branding/logo is developed I will use it on my website, business cards, brochures, announcement cards etc. So I will have more projects down the road.
I have a placeholder website http://www.drmalladi.com which will be replaced once I have a branding/logo design.
Look at this:
