Wie Markooz das erste logo design Abenteuer antrat
We're an ambitious team of computer programmers who take pride in developing applications that contribute to the achievement of human potential. Our work touches in the realms of "accessibility", "education", "therapy", and "artistic expression". In short, our vision is to use computer applications to make humans BETTER.
Examples of our projects include:
- developing a suite of virtual reality games to aid in therapy for children with motor-disabilities,
- programming the graphic display for a robotics application for stroke patients,
- programming a fully customizable website for dyslexic people.
Our clients so far include rehabilitiation hospitals, academic researchers, performing arts centers, and web developers. Now we're doing major overhaul of our company brand as we get set to pursue some bigger projects.
Erzählen Sie uns, wer Sie sind und wen Sie erreichen wollen?
Traditionally our clients have been in the medical field, and our company has been branded as such. Now we're looking to broaden our client base to include more art centers, museums, and events/festivals. We would like our new logo to help attract these new clients, while not alienating our traditional clients. Here's some info on our two main target audiences:
These are doctors and researchers developing new applications. They are highly creative, but very professional. They appreciate "out-of-the-box" thinking, and are looking for courageous parters unafraid to try new techniques.
These are curators and artistic directors who are highly aesthetic and are always looking for something fresh to serve their audiences. They are dynamic and full of life, but also quite shrewd and business savvy. They are looking for partners that have a bold vision and style, but also that can inspire confidence that the job will get done.
We are looking for a stylish logo that would include our full name "Jin Motion", which we could use for business cards, stationary, email signature, and website.
The word "Jin" (which we took our company name from) is a Chinese word that means "advance", "progress", or "improve". This being at the heart our our company's vision, we'd like the logo to portray a sense of movement.
As for a graphical element, we're eager to see some interesting stylizations of the actual "Jin" Chinese character. Here's what it looks like: http://www.jin-motion.com/proto/jin.html --- have fun with it! (A little idea we had regarding the character: notice how the top right portion (shaped a bit like "#") almost looks like a person running with their hands out, crossing the "finish line" of a marathon. If you could work that in, that would be amazing.)
In terms of colors, we're open to different interpretations, though we'd like to see some nice greens.
The file format we require is either:
Adobe Illustrator - .ai
Scalable Vector Graphics - .svg
Dateiformate der finalen Designs
