I'm a "female 40-something filmmaker" with 20+years in the biz. I'm launching out on my own to create what will ultimately be the high-end / low-cost option for producing 2-minute web videos and feature-length documentary films. I'm relatively known in the industry as an Emmy-winner and very recently the Executive Producer of a large production house in Denver. My friends and colleagues would describe me as perky, edgy and professional. I'm frequently told my face / personality remind folks of Reese Witherspoon.
My clients have always been executives at mid-to large-sized businesses. They are smart, savvy and have good taste in creative products. They know good photography, design and TV advertising when they see it. They know that in today's market they can find lower-cost video and TV production services that will be "good enough," but that often comes at the cost of not-exactly-the-look-they-wanted, or it comes with an unprofessional filmmaker who doesn't understand business, deliverables, legal issues, processes, etc. Robin Bond Media can offer the edgy, fresh, high-impact video storytelling they need to sell their products, services, and messages. And that comes with a smile, professionalism, and under-promising / over-delivering. My team manages to make every production fun - from the concept and shooting, through final delivery. And we get the message right, which means their sales and marketing goals are met, through the video or TV commercial we create together.
I like simple text treatments and use of color.
I'm a writer-based Producer/Director so.. I produce shows with elegant text treatments and I want that reflected in the logo. Feel free to play with my company initials, or a single letter. Also, I like punctuation marks used in this way:
This sample is great because it also incorporates the flower, which says fresh, organic. The logo for my last business was a green butterfly over yellow, so .. I love flowers and butterflies. But I don't want it to be too "girly."
Another example of punctation marks in a fun logo:
Here's another spec logo that uses punctuation, typography, and it's simple black and white. So I am open to graphical (non-color) as well.
Yellow and Green are my favorite colors - and the most "me." HOWEVER, here are a couple of color combos that I adore:

For simple font and the style of my initial landing page (this project will follow shortly), I love the orange color, simple font, and layout of this:
I've included my own version of this type of landing page (doc attached) below to show more about what my company's image and message will be.
