This restaurant / food service organization is launching a Korean – American fusion fast food venture in a major metropolitan city. The entity is called Seoul Food, and is a play on words of the traditional ethnic soul food cuisine. The food products offered will be influenced by traditional Korean cuisine and ingredients, but modified to an American palate so dishes such as korean style: BBQ, fried chicken, tacos, grilled meats, etc. will be the foundation of the menu.

Typical consumers will be either (1) totally unfamiliar with Korean cuisine, or (2) have limited experience with these flavors / ingredients, so the winning entrant should bear in mind that the name should convey Korean influence but welcome new participants to this exciting cuisine selection. A Taco Bell or Chung King brand would be examples that have achieved this.
The food will be distributed in both retail locations and mobile food vans. For the mobile food service, it wil cater to both stationery locations and food / street festivals, so the consumer may not necessarily achieve a familiarity with the product as a result “seeing it in the same place every day.”
The logo should include the name of the business “Seoul Food” and include our trademark, “Feed Your Seoul.”
We are looking for a handcrafted logo that is informative, engaging and inviting. So clipart icons and the such are not desired. Having a logo that has a custom illustration is key to our brand differentiation from other parallel brands.

The logo should be in a vectored format (.eps).
Once the logo is selected, there will be another contest for the design of the food van.
